Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on the 21st of September of 1983 in Worthington, Ohio, is an American actress. She is famous for her roles as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills respectively on ABC's Lost television show. After the divorce of her parents her parents separated, she moved to Worthington Ohio in order to settle in Los Angeles. The actress landed her first part, as Rachel's Room's lead character in 2001, despite having a difficult time in the financial department. In 2002, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award with her role as 15-year old murder victim Martha Moxley. Grace played Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television series in 2004. She played the lead protagonist for two seasons and also won an award for her performance, a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace, who had worked with Tom Welling on The Fog in 2005, decided to make the move into the world of film.
