Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico, was born to the music-loving parents of her family. She spent most of her youth listening to classical music and boleros of the past, classic ranchero or romantic tunes and classic classical music. Ana is a fan of Tangos. Also, she loves operas and any form theatrical performance. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her and sister, she began more intense training in vocals at age 16, under the direction of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was a member of many opera choruses and chamber ensembles. In 2000 she moved to the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she returned to her current home in Southern California. The singer currently sings classic Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. As an instructor and performer in the local area and instructor, her passion for music and art keeps her involved in a range of different projects. Ana is also a past member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her passion and love for traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to instill a sense of particularly among the younger generation, to help keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
