Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian actress and television presenter. Her most well-known work is the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16, she had already landed several television roles, for instance, the lead in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her critically acclaimed role in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for many other noteworthy roles, including that of the secretary of Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge from the critically and commercially successful Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The other Oscar nominated movies featuring the actress include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. In the past, Alexandra was involved in numerous noteworthy national and international projects. This includes the British biographical films Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon as well as other. In addition, she is an official jury member for two festivals: The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
